These commemorative gold medals were minted by the Royal Mint in the UK to celebrate the first ever visit of the Royal couple, Prince Charles and Princess Diana Prince and Princess of Wales, to Hong Kong 30 years ago. Their Royal Highnesses visited the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
